Greenoco Video Player
Eco-designed video player for performance and carbon-footprint optimization
Context
Reduce the impact of third-party video players (YouTube/Vimeo) that load heavy scripts before any user interaction, hurting PageSpeed scores and increasing energy consumption.
Solution
Designed a plugin built on digital sobriety: replacing iframes with lightweight thumbnails. Third-party scripts are deferred until user click, saving ~1MB of data per page.
